• talented script-writers who can transform our advertisers requirements into compelling radio adverts
• a manager to provide administrative back-up for our advertising campaign, handling correspondence and ensuring, in the end, that the right adverts are played at the right times
• sales executives who can introduce businesses to the power of local advertising...and convert leads into business!

Thornbury FM serves the entire Thornbury and district community through the provision of a diverse spectrum of fun, inclusive, distinctive, innovative, informative and relevant programmes.

To do this we run two 28-day broadcasts each year, and each of these costs us around £8,000 to put on. This community service is funded in a number of ways, but a large proportion of our funding is through advertising from local businesses.

We are seeking to bolster our advertising team with enthusiastic volunteers who can help with script-writing, administration and selling.

The advertising team is essential to the continued success of Thornbury FM as a community service, so if your have a few spare hours and would like to get involved then we'd love to hear from you!
