The Rock and Metal Show
Well it’s probably easiest to start with a bit about me! I’m 19 and currently studying music performance at Access to Music College. I have been a musician for a long time, taking up several instruments as a child, but sticking with drums since age 12, and guitar since age 14 (and the occasional dodgy vocal line!).
I’m Thornbury born and bred, and have always lived here, getting my education at Crossways, then at Castle school. It’s at Castle when I really became interested in music as a career, and was fortunate to have an excellent group of teachers and tutors to help me along the way! Though I’m normally a performer by trade, one of the 2 A-Levels I received was in Music technology, which has sparked my interest in a verity of new things, including recording, musical composition, and of coarse Radio.
The Show
The programme that I am continuing from our last broadcast is ‘The Rock and Metal Show’, which will present the best of Rock and Metal from the 80s till now. I am on air on Tuesdays from 10pm - midnight. With any luck I’ll be delivering an appealing show for many age varieties to listen to.
Hope you tune in from 10pm on Tuesday's!
