Hi there, my name’s Matt Wood and have been involved with Thornbury FM now for a couple of years. I have gradually worked up from Reception work, presenting and co-presenting a wide variety shows to last broadcast when I reached the dizzy heights of Saturday Breakfast. This year I have handed that baton of honour to my Dad (Terry Wood), whilst I get up at a normal time and present Home Run, every weekday 4-6pm.
You can expect talking and music, like most radio shows. But I really hope you can join me with lots of guests, a bit of chat and a few anecdotes, as well as some lovely records. It’ll be fun.
As well as that I’ll be with James on Friday nights 8-10pm for the Fun Factory. You may hear me pipe up on my Dad’s show as well if he can lure me out of bed.
