Mike Trebble

Hi I'm Mike Trebble. I've lived in Thornbury for most of my adult life & love the community spirit of the town. I'm presently doing up my cottage which is a long but enjoyable job; I enjoy music, travel & listening to the radio!

I'm married with two sons, Luke who is a youth presenter & Aaron who attended the Castle School sixth form & has now gone on to study law at University College of London.

I first became involved with Thornbury FM as an advertising  traffic manager (not traffic as in road traffic but traffic as in slotting our clients into various commercial breaks) which I once did professionally for the Chiltern Radio Group. I also started going out & selling advertising to local clients which I have found very rewarding, meeting people and finding out how Thornbury FM can best match their requirements. Anyway later on during 2005, I ended up as station and programme manager, although I've since taken a break from this joint role & now just advise on the programming group
