Nick Langston
Nick is back with his Jazzfunkcool Experience on Tuesday nights from 10pm until midnight. As a musician he is well-known in the area as a jazz, swing and latin vocalist and has worked with some of the region's best musicians - he's looking forward to bringing some of his favourite music to Thornbury FM.
"I love such a wide range of music that it's going to be tough to decide what to leave out. The main thread running through all of it is the best jazz, funk, and cool music around."
Originally from Oxford, Nick has been performing live for a number of years as both a vocalist and guitarist. He is most often spotted with his band regularly playing at some of the best venues in Bristol and beyond.
In 2007 he also had a book published about his travels around Indonesia and with an album of his own music released in 2008 it's been a busy year for Nick.
"I'm looking forward to presenting the show again and I'll be including music and interviews from some great local musicians and maybe introduce the Thornbury FM audience to some of the amazing talent we have in this area."
With a mix of music stretching from Frank Sinatra and Sam Cooke through to James Brown and Jamiroquai through to Groove Armada and Courtney Pine, The Jazzfunkcool Experience promises to be a great way to round off your Tuesday night.
