2nd Alveston Scouts

The Scouts of Alveston have been very keen to take part in Thornbury FM from the start (Scouts have never been shy about making a noise!).

The "Explorer Scouts" (aged 14-18) will be doing the first two Friday shows (8-9pm), and the "Scouts" (aged 11-14) will be doing the second two.

Expect lots of jokes, top-tips, interviews (e.g. Steve Webb MP!), and recordings of their activities on climbing walls and night hikes.
The cub scouts (age 8-10) will also get a mention - so listen in!

The main presenters will be Kieren Ryan, Matt, Jack and Andrew.

The picture shows a typical troop night constructing something large out of lots of poles and ropes. As usual an excellent piece of solid engineering - even if it was pretty dark when eventually finished!
