Tim Pearce

I was born in Liverpool at a very early age and moved South when my Father was promoted to various roles in the home counties and, a few years later, Stroud.

I came to Thornbury 20 odd years ago as the Manager of Sandoe Luce Paines Estate Agency on the Plain and now live on Park Farm with my Wife Anita.

I have been singing for Dursley Male Voice Choir for 20 years and also enjoy Snow Boarding which I took up at the end of 2005.

I am still an Estate Agent and am co-owner of the recently established Castle Estate Agents at the top of the High Street. I am also the vice chairman of Thornbury Chamber of Commerce and am looking forward to being a part of the town’s business community.

Programme.

A Saturday Morning wake-up to the week-end programme from 07.00 – 09.00. We will be playing mixed music that is easy to listen to and “tuneful” ranging from the sort of classical music that most people know to “pop” tunes of the day if deemed “main-stream”. Interviews with local people with a leaning toward the commercial footprint of the town i.e. business people, shop keepers etc. We will be reviewing the Saturday morning papers and trawling through the Gazette for tit-bits and general interest items.

Involvement.

I heard about TFH from the Chamber of Commerce and attended the first public meeting in the Church Hall with Anita early in 2005. I became a member of the promotions committee until the business became so busy that I had to resign. I believe that the opportunity exists to add real value to the town with this Radio Station and look forward to becoming a part of its long term future.
