Hello,
I’m Tony Bradley and in my day job I work as a Teacher. I enjoy many types of music, but especially the music of the dance bands which I have been collecting and enjoying for thirty-five years. It will be a great privilege to share some of this music with you.
I shall be presenting a show entitled Dance Band Days on Thursday’s from 8pm. The show will recall the wonderful music and vocalists of the dance band and the big band era, that is the 1920’s to the 1950’s. The show will also feature some of the modern dance bands that perform in the style.
Whether young or old, I hope you can join me in listening to the best of the romantic and swinging sounds of Ambrose, Geraldo, Roy Fox, Lew Stone, Carroll Gibbons, Jack Jackson, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, plus many more in what was and still is a Golden Age of music.
